Position Title:

Digital Marketing Manager

Background Information:

I grew up about 45 minutes east of Iowa City in Muscatine, Iowa. I studied Psychology at both the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa from 2009-2012. In 2012, I began my career by climbing the ladder in a healthcare revenue company where I managed people, client relationships, and overall performance. In 2019, I ventured into real estate as an office admin where I wore many hats and discovered my passion for marketing and digital marketing. From there, I’ve enjoyed finding ways to incorporate my passion for Psychology and understanding people into my work as a Digital Marketing Manager at Running Robots.

First Job:

My first job ever was working at the aquatic center and baseball field concession stands in Muscatine at age 14. My favorite part of that job was the variety of soft serve ice cream flavors – butter pecan was the best one!

Favorite Part About Being A Running Robot:

My favorite part about being a Running Robot is how many new things I get to learn each day. Technology changes quickly, which means our work never gets boring or monotonous! I also really enjoy the atmosphere of our team at Running Robots. Everyone here is so supportive, encouraging, fun, and genuine. Enjoying what we do for a living is key in life, and I sincerely feel that way at Running Robots.

Lessons Learned While Being a Running Robot:

Always remember to give yourself the space to grow, to learn, and to breathe.

Goofy Memory Had With the Running Robots Team:

Every Wednesday in the office brings a new goofy memory, but my favorite is probably getting elbow boops from Boone. (I think he knows I’m the weakest link for giving pets!)

More Interesting Facts:

Would you believe me if I told you that I don’t really watch tv or movies? :) I always feel strange telling people that! I’m a deep philosopher who enjoys stargazing, observing nature, and generally contemplating the meaning of life. I also have a few “nerdy” hobbies, including playing Magic: The Gathering and a handful of console-based video games. When I’m not doing one of those things, you can usually find me cheering on the Hawks, listening to a variety of music, enjoying a craft IPA at one of the local breweries, sipping a local coffee, or hanging out at home with my crystals and plants. :)
